 USS Hector
Sailors Association

The USS Hector Sailors Association is an organization that was brought about entirely by volunteers
who have been willing to assume a leadership position in the Association’s formation and continued growth.

The purpose of this Association is to perpetuate and memorialize the accomplishments of the men and women
who served aboard the Hector, and to foster goodwill and fellowship among all former USS Hector sailors.

Since 1988 when the first Hector Reunion was organized by Alfred Rule MM2 (Plank Owner) (43-50) (deceased)
and held in Sacramento, California, the roster has grown to over 1,800 names of former Hector sailors, and more
